LZS Sustainability Report
Welcome to our second Sustainability Report. In this edition of our voluntary report, we intend to demonstrate our commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, translating the aspirations outlined last year into actionable steps. This includes disclosures on our performance, progress, and impacts for the year 2024. More importantly, we continue to highlight our efforts in enhancing livelihood of the asnaf community, as well as our ongoing commitment to upholding transparency, accountability, and integrity.

Inside This Sustainability Reports
This report covers the sustainability performance of LZS’s headquarters, 18 branches, and 6 institutions for the period from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024. The contents of this Report have been prepared based on the 11 material matters identified through a materiality assessment.
This report has been prepared with reference to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Universal Standards 2021, and is also aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030 (UNSDG 2030)
The Report has been internally reviewed by LZS’s management, while the reported collection and distribution of zakat funds have been reviewed by independent parties to uphold the credibility of LZS’s disclosures.

Our ESG Framework aligns our sustainability aspirations with our commitment to becoming a leading zakat institution by adopting management standards on par with global institutions. All our four ESG themes were conceptualised with clear objectives in mind
