SHAH ALAM, 31 May 2021 – Following the announcement of Full Movement Control Order (PKP) 3.0 by the government to curb the spread of COVID-19, the headquarters and 23 branches of the Selangor Zakat Board (LZS) will be closed from 1 to 14 June 2021.
However, this closure will not affect the distribution of monthly aid to existing asnaf, and they will continue to receive assistance as usual.
The public can still transact with LZS through the online platforms provided. Zakat payments can be made at fpx.zakatselangor.com.my or by downloading the Zakat Selangor mobile app, available for free on Google Play Store for Android and Apple App Store for iOS.
Meanwhile, applications for emergency cases during the PKP period can be made by contacting the Assistant Amil Kariah (PAK) or distribution officers via www.zakatselangor.com.my/koad-and-eoad.
The public can also check their aid status and zakat payment statements at ezo.zakatselangor.com.my.
