Lembaga Zakat Selangor Safety and Health Policy
Lembaga Zakat Selangor (MAIS) is highly committed to the safety and health of all its employees and individuals involved in its operations. It will take all necessary measures to prevent injuries, accidents, illnesses, and property damage across all Lembaga Zakat Selangor (MAIS) premises in accordance with legal requirements.
To achieve these objectives, Lembaga Zakat Selangor (MAIS) will:
- Recognize occupational safety and health laws relevant to Lembaga Zakat Selangor (MAIS) to ensure compliance.
- Identify hazards from operations and implement control measures to eliminate or reduce risks.
- Ensure all employees receive sufficient occupational safety and health training to raise awareness and competency.
- Maintain effective communication regarding occupational safety and health matters within Lembaga Zakat Selangor (MAIS).
- Ensure that all development projects under Lembaga Zakat Selangor (MAIS) comply with occupational safety and health regulations.
This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure its effectiveness and updated whenever there are changes in legal provisions.
Online Work Permit Application
The Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS) Occupational Safety and Health Contract Management Procedure aims to ensure that contractors or suppliers understand workplace risks and take preventive measures to avoid accidents. This document meets the minimum Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) requirements at every phase of contract management, including compliance with OSH laws.
Additionally, this procedure involves active monitoring of OSH compliance at LZS premises. A work permit is required to ensure that contractors, suppliers, and third parties adhere to these safety and health procedures.
Workplace Accident Report
Reporting of accidents / hazards / near-miss incidents is a mandatory requirement under the Workplace Accident Reporting Procedure & the Notification of Accident, Dangerous Occurrence, Occupational Poisoning and Occupational Disease Regulations 2004. This report may be submitted by anyone involved in or who witnesses an accident, hazard, or near-miss incident at the workplace.
Any incident may be reported directly to the Officer-in-Charge or through the reporting system.
