SHAH ALAM, 15 September 2022 – The Top Management of Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS) today took the Anti-Corruption Pledge (IBR) as a demonstration of their commitment to performing their duties with full integrity and to strengthen their resolve against abuse of power, particularly corruption, in a brief programme held here.
The pledge ceremony was led by LZS Chief Executive Officer, Mohd Sabirin Mohd Sarbini, witnessed by Selangor State Director of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (SPRM), Dato’ Alias Salim, and followed by the signing of the IBR.
According to Mohd Sabirin, in his speech, this programme is an initiative by LZS to instil a culture of integrity leadership among the top management, while serving as a reminder to avoid corruption.
“Integrity awareness programmes are also implemented among LZS staff to ensure that all responsibilities entrusted to them are carried out with full integrity, especially in assisting the asnaf. This aligns with LZS’s preparations towards MS ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System certification,” he explained.
