(Giant), introduced the initiative “Indahnya Berkongsi Giant & Selangor Zakat Board.” Through this program, the public can participate by purchasing food basket packages starting from RM30 at all Giant supermarket branches throughout Selangor. Each purchase is not just a donation but also a symbol of care and compassion for the underprivileged.
The collected food baskets will be distributed to asnaf, the poor, and converts across the state, ensuring they can celebrate Ramadan and Syawal with more joy and sufficient provisions. This strategic collaboration not only strengthens the spirit of togetherness in the community but also reflects the commitment of LZS and Giant in helping those in need, making this Ramadan more meaningful for everyone.
Also present at the event were Chief Corporate & Special Projects Officer, Ariffa Ariffin, and Chief Financial & Information Technology Officer, Rapizah Muhammad Sharif.
