LZS Introduces ‘IKTIRAF’ to Appreciate Selangor Zakat Contributors

SHAH ALAM, 28 December 2021 – Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS) today launched the Muzakki Recognition Program (IKTIRAF) as a gesture of appreciation to zakat contributors (muzakki) in Selangor who have supported LZS in assisting asnaf through their commitment to paying business zakat, during a ceremony held here.

For the inaugural launch, 34 corporate companies received the IKTIRAF Diamond recognition for contributing more than RM1,000,000 in business zakat to LZS, ensuring the continued distribution of zakat in Selangor.

The newly introduced IKTIRAF recognition is divided into four categories:

i. IKTIRAF Diamond – For contributors paying zakat exceeding RM1,000,000

ii. IKTIRAF Gold – For contributors paying zakat between RM500,000 and RM999,999
