SABAK BERNAM, 10 February 2025 – A single mother, Jah Raton Nor, received a new ray of hope as the Selangor Zakat Board (LZS) handed over a new house to replace her old and unsafe residence.

The key handover ceremony was officiated by Dato’ Orang Kaya Maha Bijaya Orang Besar Daerah Sabak Bernam, Dr Paridul Adras Ismail, and witnessed by LZS Deputy Head of Asnaf Distribution Operations Division, Md Yusmizan Md Yusuf, along with the Mukim Chief and Village Head.

“Alhamdulillah, thank you for giving me a new house,” said Jah Raton Nor, her voice tinged with emotion as she expressed her joy over the assistance received. As a recipient of LZS zakat aid, she is deeply grateful to now live in a safer and more comfortable home with her family.

This aid is part of LZS’s commitment to enhancing the welfare of the asnaf group by providing better housing. With this new home, it is hoped that Jah Raton Nor and her family will have a more secure life, reducing concerns about the safety of their living conditions.
