SHAH ALAM, 21 July – Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS) paid a courtesy visit to the Jabatan Akauntan Negara Malaysia (JANM) Selangor to discuss the expansion of the Monthly Zakat Installment (AZB) program among civil servants in the state.

The visit was led by LZS Chief Executive Officer, Mohd Khaidzir Shahari, and received by JANM Selangor Director, Shahnaz Abd Salam, at the department’s office here today.

The meeting also focused on strategic collaboration in digitalization and system integration between the two agencies. This initiative aims to enhance zakat collection efficiency and facilitate online zakat payments, particularly for government employees.

The integrated effort aligns with the goal of strengthening zakat delivery systems and supporting the broader economic development agenda for the ummah.

LZS also expressed appreciation for the continuous support of JANM Selangor and is confident that this collaboration will strengthen zakat management and have a positive impact on asnaf in the state.
