SHAH ALAM, 27 September 2024 – Members of the public who wish to check zakat assistance eligibility or perform zakat estimates can visit Karnival Zakat Selangor on 28–29 September 2024, Saturday and Sunday, at Dataran Karnival Stadium Shah Alam, organized by Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS).

The carnival, held in conjunction with the 30th Pearl Jubilee of LZS, offers a variety of exciting activities, including sales throughout the two-day event.

Additionally, more than 3,000 job opportunities from 30 employers across various industries will be offered through the iKerjaya Carnival at the event. Residents of Selangor, especially asnaf seeking career opportunities, are invited to attend in person to apply and participate in interview sessions at the carnival.

Visitors can enjoy a wide range of offerings from entrepreneurs, including asnaf entrepreneurs, Rahmah sales, food trucks serving various dishes, a petting zoo for children, Islamic stage performances, CEO Run, informative knowledge-sharing sessions, and many other engaging activities. Appearances by mascots Mechamato and Boboiboy will also enliven the carnival.

To help the public settle traffic fines, a counter offering 30% discounted payments for summons or compounds to the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) will be available at the carnival.

Moreover, carnival visitors have the chance to win lucky draw prizes including Umrah packages.
