SHAH ALAM, 21 June 2022 – The Selangor Zakat Board (LZS), in collaboration with the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS), invites eligible students who have completed the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) or the Malaysian Higher Religious Certificate (STAM) to apply for the LZS Dermasiswa Education Sponsorship for studies in the Middle East.

The sponsorship is open to Selangor-born students who wish to pursue studies in Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, or Ulum Islamiah in Egypt; Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, or Quranic Studies and Qiraat in Jordan; or Islamic Studies in Morocco for the 2022 intake.

Applications can be submitted online at https://epengajiantinggi.jais.gov.my starting from 13 June 2022. The application deadline for studies in Morocco is 23 June 2022, while applications for studies in Egypt and Jordan close on 30 June 2022.
