HULU LANGAT, 29 October 2023 – Approximately 150 residents of the Paya Lebar Orang Asli Village participated in the Hello Sungai Lui program organized by Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS) in collaboration with the Royal Malaysian Air Force (TUDM) here today.

This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program is part of LZS’s initiative to engage the Orang Asli community through various community and educational activities.

During the program, residents received a briefing on the importance of maintaining cleanliness delivered by a TUDM Medical Officer, alongside free health screenings. A health exhibition was also held to provide further awareness to the residents.

In addition, LZS organized activities for children and women in collaboration with Adab Youth Garage (AYG), a partner of the Zakat Selangor Community Program.

During the same program, LZS contributed RM10,000 for surau renovation and provided reading materials for the Mini Library at the village.

Also present at the event were TUDM Senior Medical Officer, Colonel Dr. Saravanan, and LZS Head of Stakeholder Relations and Corporate Communications Division, Datin Setia Norajun Ainun Mohd Hashim.
